HISTORY FOLKS: A History of Boston Architecture 10:30 A.M. ZOOM

As one of the oldest cities in America, Boston continues to maintain much of its original architecture and colonial character, even as it grows and develops to meet the demands of modern sensibilities. Sites ranging from homes to churches and warehouses to restaurants allow tourists and residents alike to gain a deeper understanding of how Bostonians through the centuries lived, worked, and played. In this virtual program, join Boston City Archaeologist Joseph M. Bagley on an evocative journey into Boston’s past as he recounts the historical significance of some of the city’s architectural treasures and the efforts made to preserve them.
