Your Life/Your Story
Guided Autobiography Class
Newton at Home is fortunate to have Dorothea Black to lead this class for the second time to those who would like guidance on writing down some of your life stories and experiences. You’ll meet with a supportive group for a series of sessions in which you will engage in thought provoking exercises and share short weekly writings.
You don’t have to be an expert writer to enjoy gathering your stories and sharing them with others. In the sessions, you will learn about a time-tested method for organizing your life story, two pages at a time. Responding to prompts and hearing the stories of others will sharpen your memory of past events.
At the end of the session, Dorothea will take your personal story and put it into a nice bound booklet as a treasured memento to share with your family and friends.
