Q: When will Newton at Home open?
A: In truth, we don’t know at this time, but our volunteers - we are an all-volunteer organization - are working diligently to develop an answer. We’ve talked to other villages and found that the elapsed time from concept to open for business has generally been from eighteen to twenty-four months. Right now, NAH is in the planning stage and working hard to address the many strategic and operational issues that need to be resolved before we open for business. We are also contemplating the possibility of phasing in services rather than having one opening day. As these decisions are made, we will have a better idea of when NAH will officially launch.

In the meantime, however, we are committed to holding some citywide programs on topics that will be of interest to prospective members and to providing periodic updates on our progress.
